Despite having over 20 years of experience, I made the decision to keep my costs lower than the majority of my colleagues with equal years of experience. It is important to me that therapy is accessible to those in need. As such, the cost for an individual therapy session with me is $120 per session.
Clients can pay with cash, credit/debit card or HSA card for their sessions. Payment is due at the start of your session.
I also accept Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and Carelon. Please contact me to check insurance eligibility.
I am an out-of-network provider with other insurance companies. I provide superbills for therapy service upon request. A superbill has all the information needed for an insurance company to reimburse part or all of the session, depending on your insurance plan. Beyond providing the superbill, I cannot guarantee reimbursement from your insurance company or assist with the claims process. Payment is still due to me at the start of your session, and it is the client's responsibility to try to receive reimbursement from their insurance.
Let's Talk Money
I come from a military family and have a long history of helping those who have served our nation. I have partnered with The Headstrong Project to provide mental health services to active duty service members or veterans who are experiencing PTSD. Headstrong’s trauma treatment program provides 30 cost-free sessions. For extended therapy, sessions include a client copay made to the therapist. Questions to ask your insurance provider regarding superbills:
Does my plan cover out-of-network providers for mental health services? If so, what is the coverage?
What is my Out-of-Network deductible?
What is the Out-of-Pocket Maximum?
When do my benefits renew?
How do I submit invoices to the plan for reimbursement?
